Hayley 'Sings' on the UK's no. 1 album!

Hayley Westenra's new recording of  "Amazing Grace" is today at no. 1 in the UK album chart as part of the EP album "Sing" by Gary Barlow, The Commonwealth Band, Military Wives, Hayley, Laura Wright and Alfie Boe. We believe this is the first time Hayley has been one of the lead singers on an official no. 1 album or single outside of New Zealand!

Sing was produced as part of the Diamond Anniversary celebrations this week for Her Majesty The Queen.

"X Factor judge Gary Barlow was celebrating after his album with the Commonwealth Band went to number one in the album chart.

Barlow's album Sing features collaborations with Hayley Westenra, Alfie Boe, the Military Wives and boasts Prince Harry on the tambourine.

Gary said: "I couldn't have wished for anything more on this momentous weekend!"
